But really old versions work, such as ffms2-2.23-clang , or ImageMagick for PNG RGBA sequences

Older versions of FFMS2 don't work with me because they cannot open PNG files (as per an older thread of mine:
https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=176223 ). And ImageMagick does not work with international filepaths.
