If you knew the 1/2 pixel sample points ... wouldn't you just interleave them? You'd still have to interpolate 50% of the new pixels for a 4x resize. So you'd zero pad those unknown...

I'm not sure what deshaker does on the inside .... but I'm sure it tries to figure things out based upon the pixel values. If you give it screwy values ... i can't see how it would work....

Basically ... the Sony codec outputs RGB in a range of 16-235. AVS expects it to be 0-255.
