I've got no idea where to find the DTS-ES specs :( The DTS specs I found are almost 3 years old and in the chapter "Extension to more than 5.1 chanels" there's just this note for the AMODE...

IMHO,i'd rather crop a few pixels than resize the whole picture,because even the best resizer causes some distortion,maybe not noticeable with naked eye,but nevertheless...
