This is about subtitles. I'm not sure who can help me with this, but here it goes. The thing is, now I've got twenty-five Love Hina episodes in OGM format. I use Media Player Classic. The subtitles display fine. Now, here's the thing... I'm trying to use Avi2DVD to convert and encode all of these files so I can burn them onto a DVD. Everything is good to go, except for one minor detail: The subtitles don't show up. I know that Avi2DVD has a little section where you choose subtitle files to be put into the video, but I can't even save the subtitles that are shown in Media Player Classic (which are the ones I want!). It just saves a tiny little section of the subtitles. Each of the episodes have different subtitles (sorry, this IS a new thing for me), so what the heck do I do to get this project done?

Sorry if I frustrate anyone, I'm pretty new to all of this stuff.

And yes, I am using AVI2DVD here.

Forum rule #9:

9) Use a title that describes the content of your post. Don't use all caps or special characters to draw attention.

AVI2DVD? How does this relate to this forum? (DVD2AVI, or DGIndex)

You can open the ogm files into virtualdubmod, go to streams, and demux the subtitles from each episode that way. What avi2dvd will do with the .srt subs I couldn't say, you might need to convert them into something else.
