As soon as I go to file > save, and choose any compression (or even uncompressed), DVD2AVI makes the annoying DONK windows sound.
If I try again, DVD2AVI crashes.
I used to have this problem before, and somehow I figured out how to make it go. It usually did it on all dvds that I had ripped.
I feel that I am missing something, or doing something wrong. Here is a step-by-step list of what I am doing.
Ripped Futurama to my hard drive.
Opened up DVD2AVI, went to the futurama rip folder, and selected VTS_04_2.VOB.
Dvd2avi automatically added in VTS_04_1.VOB, which is the last 5 minutes of the episode. Ok. Good for it.
F5 to preview. Seems to be going. Hit escape
File > save > 11.avi >.... 2 seconds later "DONK".
F5... Preview. Hmm. hasnt froze or anything.
File > save > 1.avi... "DVD2AVI has had an unexpected error..."
