I have an AVI file (DIVX encoded) at a resolution of 576x432 (1.33, 4:3) ratio... Putting it threw AVI2DVD works fine, however when I play the resulting MPG file, and or encode to DVD, it appears in 720x480 (which i understand is fine, but the flag should tell it to play in 1.33 format no?).
On the screen it is "squished" width wise. Fills to the top of the screen, but has black borders on the left and right!!

Any ideas?

Thanks

It's a long story but it'll be fixed in the next release.

For any resolution input, if you want 4:3 output, always use "16:9 Borders added, Encode as 4:3. If you want 16:9 output, regardless of input resolution, use Anamorphic.

I know it sounds illogical to not to choose "4:3 No borders" when the input is 4:3 but trust me, using the instructions above will work.

We are hoping for a new build in the not too distant future, which will give you more options for AVI resizing. When this comes out, there'll be an explanation of the new options and it should clarify what's going on.
