Vdub+Avisynth problems

I hope any of the great guys here can help me about this problem.
I always use Avisynth through Virtualdub/mod.
My big problem is since like 6 months ago, Virtualdub keeps exiting when loading an .avs.
I mean I can't even use the jobs queue of Vdub.First script goes well, but then second crashes Vdub and makes it exit.
Am I really dumb and missing anything or it is something Id need to live with ?

Try emptying your AVISynth plug-ins directory (move them somewhere) and seeing if that fixes it. If it does, you can put them back one by one until you find which one was at fault.

What versions are you using?

I will check if my version is some buggy old one, at least I know it is not older than 2.5.5.
Anyway I don't have problems at loading the script the first time.Problem is when "reloading/refreshing" or when loading another script without first closing Vdub.

Note: After I installed 2.6 alpha RC1 the problem has gone.
