Not an Avisynth 1.0 plugin

I get this error message when I try to run use DGDecode.dll:

I installed 2.5 but I have suspicions 1.0 is not going away, is there a surefire way to remove 1.0 so it can use the right version?

Search for avisynth.dll on your computer, and see what it pulls up. (I assume thats what version 1.0 would use as well).

Its in system32 folder and is reported as version 2.0.5.0

You need to install v2.5.5, not v2.0.x.

And version 2.0 is listed at the top with no 2.5 versions visible. Would be possible/desirable to list version 2.5 first?

Dunno. It's probably easier to change the error message into "... not an Avisynth 1.0x/2.0x plugin" or something like that.
