Are there any news?
Valex stopped developing at v0.60b
But he started again on the ac3 filter.
Any news for a winamp plugin?
The actual 0.60b sometimes freezes and i'd like something more stable.

Try adding to in-dshow plugin property .ac3, .dts or whatever format not supported by winamp plugin but supported as dsfilter.

Thanks!
It's working really good now, except that there is no way of accesing the ac3 filter during playback.
Well not big problem.
But there is a big problem: using the ac3 plugin winamp read the filename and used it in the playlist, now with the dshow filter it gives "no artist no title"...
Why?
And it cannot skip to a point in the track anymore.
Just play.

Just play. Mine does the same. Certainly there is a seeking problem with the 0.95 version of the in_dshow plugin...
It also seems unable to read the id tag through the dsfilter input.
Other ds players like MP Classic has no problem in seeking. Maybe wait for the next 1.~ version?

AC3 and DTS do not have ID tags.
It should read the file name and use that, but that does not happen :(

Edit: i downloaded and installed winamp v5.1 and now the filename parsing is ok but the dshow plugin crashes :(
On stop or "next/previous" it crashes on ntdll.dll :(

Edit2: fixed the above bug, found on www.oldversion.com winamp 5.06 that contains in_dshow.dll v 0.93 instead of 0.95
This works ok, and with the reinstall i previously made the filename parsing is ok.
So i don't have FFW and RW but at least it plays good and shows the filename.

But there is a big problem: using the ac3 plugin winamp read the filename and used it in the playlist, now with the dshow filter it gives "no artist no title"... Mine shows the file name and duration.
I also experienced the crashing when it goes to the next music to play with a different skin which turned out to be making the winamp unstable...
But you know, winamp is finally OPEN and came back with good features. :)
