about VOB files...

is it possible that i copy the files from the disk to the hard drive like the VOB files and convert it into MPEG? because im having problems ripping from the dvd rom.. is it possible like i transfer all files from the dvd to my hard disk and convert them into mpeg or something? can any body help or give me a link for previous topics about this? tnx doom9'ers..

Just rename your VOB extension to MPG. ;)

What ripper are you using?
What error messages are you getting, if any?
What DVD and region code are you working on?

If you rip all your files unto your HDD, you can watch the whole thing with your software player like PowerDVD.
