View Full Version : Can you change the default audio stream in DVD-Rebuilder PRO?

I had been using DVD-rebuilder free version for a while now. When I would backup a DVD that has a DTS audio track, I prefer to play that DTS track by default, as opposed to the 6 channel ac-3. To accomplish this, I would open the disc in DVD Shrink, change the default audio stream to the DTS track, and re-create the disc with NO compression. Then I would open the newly created disc image using DVD-RB and perform the shrinking from there.

However, looking at the pro version of dvd-rb, I see a lot more flexibility and configurability. What I did not see was the ability to re-order the default audio stream. Does anyone have any ideas how this can be easily accomplished? If it can't be done using DVD-RB, perhaps there is an easy way to accomplish this using another piece of software and/or modifying a .IFO file setting, all the while not having to completely re-create the DVD image like I used to using DVD Shrink as described above? Thanx for the help.

I have found an answer. This post describes it well. Perhaps this is a feature that could be implemented in DVD-RB.

remapping is never recommended, and therefore jdobbs has said, i believe, he prefers not to include it

Yep, and a lot easier than that IFO method:
