Hi. I have MPC 6.4.8.4 buth i have problem to play ac3 and dts on dvd.

I have audigy 2 soundcard and using the dig out from pc and directly to my Harman K 5500 digital receiver coax input.

Must i have a Ac3 and dts filter or is this inside MPC ?

How should i set up the player then ?

I have been in trouble with this for almost 6mnd now ... :(

Before this 6mnd i have a period when it`s worked, buth mayby after the driver downloads i got the problem i am not shore ..

How can i uninnstall all the drivers if that should be the reason ? (safe mod) and then ??

I am very happy for any answered, please do so :) :)

I have the same version of MPC installed....

There should be no need to install AC3 filter. When I connect my PC to an external surround sound amp via an SPDIF connection, AC3 and DTS work fine!

Just make sure you have the following options selected: -
