Hi all!
Is it possible to increase the CPU load with AutoGK on a AMD Cool'n'Quiet system? I mean when I encode a film, the CPU doesn't speed up above ~800mhz, while it supposed to work at 2.2 Ghz! The process priority change doesn't help at all!

Does the CPU reach higher speed when gaming ?
My AMD64 3000+ reaches 100 CPU usage when using Gordian Knot.

Perhaps your Cool'n'Quiet software is not letting the CPU reach full speed.

What utility do you use to monitor/change your motherboard speeds ? Turn it off and try again.

I use the latest driver for mobile athlon (I own 3400+) from amd.com, I usually don't monitor the speed, just taskmgr and My Computer/Properties to see the CPU frequency. I can't see any problems in gaming (NFS hot pursuit 2 with max settings is fine), and I've seen ~2Ghz CPU speed when working in Linux, but autogk was rendering the whole DVD ~1.5 hours at ~800mhz! I even tried to set "Always on" power settings but to no avail. Yes, and I ran it as Power user member on WinXP SP2+hotfixes.
