I have a bunch of MPEG2 videos that i think have damaged or missing indexes. These files are DVB PAL streams from Europe (ok ok, they're Alizee videos ;) )
Media player 10 would play these files for about 5 seconds and then freeze on the frame, whereas Media Player Classic would play it flawlessly. I am assuming that Media Player 10 is more sensitive to damaged or missing indexes in mpeg2 streams. I had set both players to use the nvidia dvd decoder (using Directx va acceleration).
Anyone know of a way or program to repair these mpeg2 videos? Or how to make mediaplayer10 play these videos? I want to be able to play these in Media Center.
