how can i explain this....

i have some anime(live action) that need to be burnt (for storage), but for some reason i just can't do it (no, not moral reasons), they just won't burn

well... they will, but it tend to take forever [(burn for 5sec, stall for 10, repeat) like that will produce a good working copy)

as far as i know, it has something to do with the audio, so i have to extract it (unfortuntaley, and for some reason, it's doing it somewhere around real time), well you know the rest

has anyone ever heard of this (besides what you just red), or encounter the same thing

Could you give us more details please ;)

- What is the format you're burning?
- What DVD writer are you using?
- What DVD media are you using?
- What burning software are you using?

as far as i know, it has something to do with the audio

I just don't understand what are you talking about here :p

as far as i know, it has something to do with the audio:confused:
Even if the audio is corrupt, it can be burnt. It's still 1's and 0's and that is what is being copied to the disc.

This sounds like a hardware problem or software conflict.
- Incorrect IDE settings
- Too much is going on in the background and maxing the CPU
- Bad Hard Drive
- Burner starting to go bad

WOW! what cha know, it was the HD, it never acure to me, cause only these files where affected (as i know)

i guess if 1 partition of the HD has some bad sectors, the other must have some too

now for the long tasks of massive data movement (hopefully not a lot of files are affected)

THANKS
