Sony FAQ:
Question: Troubleshooting problems when editing DivX files.
Answer: Sony Pictures Digital does not officially support any version of the DivX codec.

If you use XviD or other video MPEG4, changes with the FourCC-Changer from *** on DIVX.

Bad practice -- Encoder in DVDA is mainly for menu etc... They assume you'll use encoder in *bundled* Vegas, or in your case transcode externally. :)

Bad practise, yes and no, but it works. Whether the result has a good quality, is another thing.

FWIW...:) It's actually the same encoder Sony uses for Vegas, but you don't have the controls. You can't buy DVDA without Vegas, so they assume you can edit, add chapter points, and encode there.

i dont know how to use sony vegas(its a big problem for me so, any tutorial or your thinks about sony-products & in specially sony vegas.)

Yes I second Freenow suggestion any tutorials on Sony products will be a welcomed addition.
