I am an avid user of AutoGK and simply love it. After trying some nero digital demo encodes wtih AVC and HDTV content (OTA TS) the quality is simply unmatched.
Thus, moving to GordonKNot complex+Xx264 seems reasonable.
My questions is this: I should be able to get DGINdex and the rest of the regular GN package to read the TS and excode - correct?
Any suggestions on the best settings for 720p HDTV content at bout 1GB (gigabye/hour)?? On Nero I simply had put all the settings on max.
I think the $50 for nero is a good bargain, but the development of the opensource seems faster then the comercial interms of complex codecs etc.
