Dvd-rb 5.1 error

I’m backing up an old bonjove DVD that’s from china. It’s a two disc set. It handled the first fine but on the second RB said that there is an legal gop size and that there was a possible encryption source. I ran it thought dvdd so whats up?

That error only happens when there is a very, very large GOP encountered -- greater than 50 pictures. Since the DVD standard limits a GOP to 15 (PAL) and 18 (NTSC), that means there is a serious problem with the source. Normally this happens when trying to run DVD-RB against an encrypted source.

Ok, so what can I do? The DVD has an interactive seen where you play poker with the band and if you win you get to see bonus footage.
