anyway to encode the forced subtitles onto the video with dvd-rb? would this mess up CCE's compression in any way?

I don't think it would make much difference. But why not just leave them in as a normal subtitle stream -- if they are forced they will continue to be forced after running through DVD-RB.

because Windows MCE 2005 doesnt show forced subtitles without selecting them from the menu of the dvd, and im a movie only type of ripper. No subtitle key either on the remote.

And some movies such as the remastered Star Wars series have forced subtitles inside the normal subtitles which MCE hates even worse.

I just think it would be a nice feature, I know vobsub works in avisynth but not sure how it would handle across the splitted files that dvd-rb creates. Would be great on anime too for signs.

I sure am loving the 4:3 letterbox to true 16:9 feature, been looking for a program that did that for a long time, now if only subs could be hard encoded it would be pefect to me.
