I just installed the newest nero 6 ultra major edition update (6.6.0.16) and now if I burn the entire dvd, with the menus, etc. when I play it in my dvd player every dvd I burned freezes up my dvd player. Unfortunately since I had never had this problem before I burned several movies without realizing it. These same movies play perfectly on my pc, however. Also, if I burn the movie only, they still play fine on my dvd player. I also tried some DVDs that I previously burned prior to updating with the full dvd, menus, etc and they also play fine on my dvd player. Any suggestions? Thanks

Sounds like you may be using poor quality media. If the "movie only" occupies less than the full DVD, you may be (fortunately) avoiding burning data to the outermost extremities of the DVD, where most problems arise when using low quality media.
Post your NERO log of one of these "Full DVD" problem burns here...

When does it freeze up the player? During the movie, when accessing the menu, when the disk is first inserted?
If the movie only backups play fine, I'm guessing you've made errors when reauthoring the titles.

They freeze up prior to getting to the movie, a couple have frozen up almost immediately, a couple have played throught the previews then freeze before going to the movie. I will post a log file

Uninstall "InCD" and all related files (Use NERO's InCD "Clean Tool"), as this packet-writing program is known to interfere with proper burning by NERO Burning ROM...

When you uninstall InCD, use the CleanTool (http://www.nero.com/en/InCD_Clean_Tool.html). Nevertheless, your log shows a successful burn.
Your media is very cheap and may not be at all compatible with your players. See here (http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=49635) for burning tips. Best one is to get good media - Verbatims, Taiyo Yudens, Riteks, Maxells.

I learned alot form these posts thanks particularly to blutach for the links to detailed information. Still haven't found a fix for the new nero, but I have switched to burning with decrypter and I really do think its better anyway. Thanks for the help.
