I would really like to learn to do this being that there are a few DVDs that I have with multi-angles which I have purposely avoided because of DVD_RB's problems dealing with them. This DVD by the way is Aliens SE.

blutach was nice enough to reply to a question I had asked earlier within the weekend and while his suggestion of enabling strip VOBIDs didn't exactly work, I am sure someone here has a solution to this. :D

Here is an image of IfoEdit...

These are two obvious reasons on why it's greyed out.

1. The DVD doesn't have multi-angles
2. Not using the current version (v0.971 Public version) (http://www.ifoedit.com))

According to your posted image, it doesn't look like you are using this.

That is extremely odd, I had just downloaded yesterday. Downloaded it again and here is another snapshot with the correct version multi-angle present.

If it had multi-angles then it wouldn't be greyed out. It appears like your DVD has seamless branching or interleaving, in which that checkbox is not greyed out. EVen in your first image post.

Read here (http://www.sdinfo.com/volume_7_4/dvd-benchmark-part-3-functionality-10-2000.html) on the differences on multiple angles and seamless branching.

In IfoEdit. if you had multiple angles, it would show "angle 1", "angle 2", etc. You can have up to 9 angles. If it had seamless branching, it would show "ILVU" or "InterLeaved VOBU Unit"

Know this doesn't answer question (sorry:(), but perhaps way around this prob would be to strip angles etc. during rip? Would Shrink Help?

Stripping is the angles in DVD Decrypter only does 1 half of job. Keep in mind that there are SetSTN commands in the IFOs that would set your angles. DVD Decrypter does not check/edit the IFOs for these commands.

This is possibly asking a bit much as requests like this usually end up unanswered but I'll take a longshot here and request a ILVU guide using Ifoedit for novice users like me. DVDs like The Incredibles, Terminator 2 Extreme Edition & Aliens SE are the one's that have given me the most grief out of all other DVD titles out there. A few guides out there cover this in short detail which is why I'm asking for a more in-depth updated guide. :thanks:

DVDs like The Incredibles

The Incredibles (Region 1) doesn't contain multi-angles. However, if you've removed the VOB PUOs, the resultant DVD will FALSELY display the multi-angle icon (little camera)...
