"You will need all the following.... MPEG2DEC3 AviSynth Plugin or DGDecode(it's faster)"
------------

1. Is DGDecode better? Faster is better.

2. I followed links to both and they both go to same place offering two downloads, DGMPGDec Ver 1.1.0 Final, and Decodefix 100. These two offering names do not match the names of the programs specified as required. I don't understand what I'm suppossed to do here.

I downloaded both. Now I see the names match the two specified programs. I extracted them and I don't know where they went but they went somewhere I guess.

I am still stuck because when I start RB Pro I get message: REBUILDER.RPK is not present in the DVD-RB directory.

Advice highly appreciated.

Both the full installer and minimal file versions include the correct version of the dgdecode.dll file you need.

When jdobbs emailed you the links to download the pro version there will be another link near the bottom of the email to download a rebuilder.rbk file. This is your personal key and should be copied into your dvd-rb folder.

There is also a file in the dvd-rb pro\Help subfolder called DVD-RBHELP.CHM written by Rockas which is a superb introduction to get you started. Also the FAQ articles compiled by wmansir above are essential reading.

Thanks winny. That got me past the blockage. I'll read that FAQ also.
