I have compiled a DVD with DVD-Lab pro, its 16:9 NTSC 720x480. But when i burn it with nero, my TV plays it as full screen like 4:3 and lots can't fit in screen so gets cut out, i cant even see the subtitles at the bottom cuz it doesn't fit in screen?
The original AVI framesize was 640x360 before converting to MPEG2
can you tell me whats going on?

Sounds like you have the wrong setting on your standalone DVD player...

It's very unlikely nero has something to do with that.
Was your material anamorphic? Or did you just set the bit for 16:9?
Try to check with ifoedit what settings really are in the ifo of your movie.
But if you had a 4:3 source and converted it to 16:9 the only way to go is to cut parts of the image or reduce the image size. You either have two vertical black bars on the left and right oder you fill the screen and cut the picture in the upper and lower half, if I'm not mistaken... But correct me if i'm wrong.

the original video AVI was in 16:9, i chose 16:9 for that. and I used to GSPT 2.52 to check the DVD file as well and it comes up as 16:9. I looked at my TMPGenc settings and saw that Video Arrange method was Full Screen, i changed it to Centre (keep aspect ratio), hoping to see some change in the next compilation.

You might want to try "Fullscreen - Keep Aspect Ratio 2"...
