View Full Version : PowerDVD not stretching image in Fullscreen mode

I'm having a weird problem with PowerDVD, it's giving me a problem where everything plays fine in windowed mode, I can stretch it and everything, but whenever I switch to fullscreen mode, it won't stretch the image at all, it displays the 720x480 (I'm assuming) dimension video in the upper left corner. Unfortunately it's been a while since the last time I watched any DVD's, so I'm not sure what could have caused this. I tried MPC as an experiment which worked fine in fullscreen mode, but I like PowerDVD better because of some of its features. Here are some things I've tried so far:

-Uninstalling/reinstalling PowerDVD (using a different directory name)
-uninstalling/reinstalling display drivers (Catalyst 5.8 for Radeon 9700 Pro)
-trying a system restore set back to a date when I'm pretty sure it was working right
-twiddling with every option conceivable within PowerDVD
-Uninstalling software I was playing with (although I didn't notice any problems then) that might have affected it (Ulead Movieworkshop and DVD Santa)

I'm out of ideas, please let me know if you've heard of this or know some more things I can try, let me know.

Oh it's version 6 by the way
