Recode 2.2.6.16 sometimes underestimates the length of the VOB and produces screwed up MP4s. It will also not encode subtitles.
The length it guesses is the same as what Windows Media Player (6.4.09.1125) and Showtime guess (usually around an hour). However, Media Player Classic (6.4.8.3) gets it right.
WMP says I've got Mainconcept MPEG Video Decoder & Splitter installed but I can't see it with this software: http://members.chello.nl/p.bekke/
I've also got Sony Vegas 5 installed.
Same problem exists with VOBs ripped using DVDDecrypter & Smartripper.
Anyone give me an idea where the conflict is?
