Avisynth open failure: Evaluate: Unrecognized exception!

Everything used to work fine before. Lately I have been getting errors:

Weird thing is, I get this in Nandub:

The first error I got was 'Unable to load D:\Rip Workarea\_Reference\MaskTools-v1.5.5.dll'. After I emptied my avs dir, I started getting the above.

And I get this in VirtualDubMoD and AVSEdit:

Not sure what went wrong.

Line 2 would be:
Import("D:\Rip Workarea\_Reference\limitedsharpen.avsi")
LoadPlugin("D:\Rip Workarea\_Reference\MaskTools-v1.5.5.dll")

This used to work before and then same setup works on my laptop, but now this doesn't work on my PC. Confused.. :confused: why would the error message differ from Nandub to VirtualDubMoD?

That worked! You are a genius. HT was the only thing which changed before the errors started (I enabled it recently in the BIOS). How was it obvious to you though? I didn't have a clue..:)

Still unanswered question: How come the Nandub and VirtualDubMoD errors were different?

Request: Please put the link to your software site and hence the latest MaskTooks in your sig. MaskTooks is something which I can't live without. And guess what? I had this bookmarked & checking all the time - http://jourdan.madism.org/~manao/. Now I realize that it is not current and have bookmarked this - http://manao4.free.fr/. But it'd be good if you have it in your sig. I am having a tough time keeping up with the changing MaskTools.

haha! btw, thanks, manao for finding that problem and correcting it (even though i didn't realize until recently). who'd have thought UPX would b0rk HT support?
