advice needed: anydvd or dvd region + css free

hello
I would like to ask for your advice..
what is better:
anydvd from slysoft or
dvd region + css free from dvdidle.com.. they both seems to do the same thing; my goal is to be up to any new protection scheme that may arise.. but I don't know what to install/buy... are they the same thing? should I use both? or there's one that is shit?
i am still using dvd decrypter.. btw what's the last version

DVD Decrypter's last public release was 3.5.4.0
It along with AnyDVD (5.4.1.1 - latest as of this writing) is a great combo.

I would suggest AnyDVD with DVDD.

Just make sure you turn off structure protection in DVDD and allow DVDD to use ELBYCDIO

I'm curious about this, too.

I before tried AnyDVD(5.3.2.1) and DVDFabDecrypter(2.9.2.3) about ARccOS and reported (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=98058).

(I suppose the feature of DVDRegion+CSSFree is similar with DVDFabDecrypter because of provided from same company.)

From this, I suppose AnyDVD has a merit.
Both are same in change bad sectors(CELL) to unrefferenced material, and need to remove the bad sectors(CELL) from VOB(it can do by VobBlanker, for example).
The difference is, DVDFabDecrypter(DVDRegion+CSSFree?) comletely remove the description of the bad sectors(CELL) from VTS overview, but AnyDVD changes V/C-ID of the bad sectors(CELL) and remains the description the CELLs in VTS overview.
It has a merit in some player to avoid the problem that the screen is black for about one minute and shown time remains 0:00:00 when starting to playback .
(It seems to appear when original flow jumps the bad sectors(CELL) by CELL command.)

And I'm anxious about that DVDFabDecrypter(DVDRegion+CSSFree?) processes the cell which don't has bad sectors.

But ARccOS and software is improving everyday, and DVDRegion+CSSFree may be different from DVDFabDecrypter, so I think you had better to try both software(there are trial version) and decide.

hey, thanks, I am trying anydvd now...
my question is what structure protection do i have to remove in dvdd?
does anydvd remove VOB PUO's because usually software only remove IFO PUO's so sometimes it didn't let me go where i want to go ;)
there are mainly three structures protections :
in iso read:
remove IFO structure protection
remove IFO RC protection
remove IFO RCE protection
remove IFO PUO's
remove VOB PUO's

do i have to uncheck everything? what about the option :
patch m2v timecode?

Personally speaking I keep DVD43 (For Free) v3.6.2.111 running in the system tray... in conjunction with DVD Decrypter v3.5.4.0.... I can't say I've come across any problems so far....

By-the-way, what are the current "difficult" (PAL and NTSC) DVD's to look out for?
