Hello after I select the video file (.m2v) and the audio file (.ac3) and press ok, I get an alert that says: "too many frame drops", so I used another DVDauthor and I get the same problem, what may be the cause of my problem? If the answer is in another forum please tell me where.
thanks.

defragment your hard drive, turn off any "memory-hungry" active processes, screen savers, etc.
also check your HDD settings. is it set to UDMA 5?

Using Ifoedit?

This error often is due exceeding max data rate!
Video+Audio+Subtitles <= 9,8Mbit/sec

I have already checked evrything that you have mentioned, and I still get the same problem. I made my .m2v file using TMPGenc. The video was originally captured from a VHS using VirtualDub and then I used the frame server in order to create the .m2v file. Any idea about what might be wrong?
Thanks.

Ok bigotti5, how do I modify the data rate?

reducing bitrate... of audio or video (aka reencoding)
