Replacing main title with VobBlanker messes up chapters

I used VobBlanker 2.0.0.2 to replace the main title (VTS_01_*.VOB) of a DVD.

The replacement VOB has exactly the same number of frames in the video as the original, but 2 channel instead of 5.1 channel audio. (The prgram asks me if I want to correct the destination IFOs.) For some reason the chapters don't work in the new DVD. Playing in PowerDVD, when I skip forward, the menu appears. None of the scene selection options work either. But if I don't hit any buttons, then it seem to play through correctly.

Any help would be appreciated, it's the first time I've tried something like this.

Hi,
You have to replace the PGC with a new one with the same number and cell positions. Did you?
VobBlanker should detect the mismatching number of cells and if this is the case, it issues a warning in the log. VobBlanker extends the last cell if the replacing PGC has more cells or outputs blank ones if the replacing has less number of cells

Use IFOEdit to extract the celltimes.txt file and author with the tool you want using this frame numbers as the chapter points.

Remember, if you are using MuxMan, probably you will need to manually delete the the last celltime extracted with IFOEdit (last row in the file). It is the end time of the last cell, not really a chapter, and MuxMan usually complains.

Does this apply to the celltime that pgcdemux creates too?

yup. pgcdemux creates the same celltime.

PgcDemux 1.2.0.4 has an option to keep or remove the last cell's end time: "Include end time".
