VOB to avi

I was trying to use VdubMod to convert a VOB file to avi. (I've looked in the guides and FAQ's, and can't find an answer to this, so please forgive newbie question.) I open my VOB, previewed it, and then "save as" with default settings. The finished avi looks like it's playing at about 1/2 speed. Any help appreciated.

Have a look in the newbie section for a post I made, and kindly I received some very good help. Note MaximRecoils comments in particular. IMHO the best way to do this is AVIsynth + DGMPGDec + VirtualDub with a final audio muxing step in VirtualDubMod.

You will need GSpot beta to have a look inside your media.
