Hi there everyone,
This might not be the right place, but does it matter?
We live in FRANCE (since 1992) and our daughter Katie, against all odds (no grant or loan available), went to England to further her University education (2000) , for the first 3 yrs of her education , she was refused! a loan for she was not considered to be an english resident. (she being English born, would have to live in the UK for at least 3 yrs), a little different than our different colored neighbors.
Against all odds, she struggled on ( let me say that we are not a money'ed family, we came to France with some money (the French system soon took all that away) . but soon used it all up, Intergrating) and after 3yrs She aquired her "B.A" Then she was awarded a "Grant" for her "M.A" and now I would like everybody to Rejoice with me in the fact that a little girl fom England, has gone back there and done "well" Oh, bye the way, she starts her "Doctorate" in October! (perhaps the British goverment should reconsider it's position on loans to "EX-PATS"
