View Full Version : Does Ffdshow have a feature similar to Reclock?

I was using Reclock a few years back to watch some tv shows that I have on DVD. Because of the PAL format, they play at 25fps, but they are originally film (24). So to get the sound to play with the normal speed and to avoid the higher pitch, Reclock provided the possibility to slow down the playback speed. I am wondering if Ffdshow supports doing the same. And if it doesn't, that would be a welcome addition to it.

I guess not...

I hope the developers can look into it, it would be a very useful feature.

You can make an AviSynth script which will do this. There are opensource tools which are able to transform the sound, but they are probably not implemented in FFDShow. You'll need a cooperation with video decoder.
