Very weird problem with DVDdecrypter

Hi,

I'm having a weird problem ripping a DVD5 to my HD.
First I create an iso using DVDshrink with no compression. When I check this iso with ifoedit's Get VTS sectors function I get no corrections (so everything's fine).
After that I mount this iso with daemon tools, and I rip it again with DVDDecrypter 3.5.3.0 (iso read mode). Now when I check the dvdd iso in ifoedit I get corrections.
And now the weird part: when I check my dvdshrink iso (the one mounted with daemon tools) in ifoedit again I suddenly get corrections!!

So what's going on here?
Why does DVDdecrypter fuck up my iso while ripping ?

Why do you use this long winded way of getting a dvd onto your HD? Just rip it with DVDD in file mode and then use Shrink if you need to.

in addition, could you please explain what your source dvd is - single/dual layer
...what you end goal is ... and how on earth you manage to use ifoedit to adjust the vts sectors on a mounted image? every time i try that, it returns a 'write protected' error.
