Another Tool in stead of DVDDecrypter?

Hi,

Is there another tool that can be used to rip a DVD to iso (or video_ts/audio_ts folders) that also removes region code, dvd protection, user restrictions like dvddecrypter does ?

There are a few (DVDFab Decrypter, Smart Ripper), but DVDD is still the best. If you use it in conjuction with AnyDVD or DVD43 (Free). You should have little to no problems ripping any DVD

Can anydvd be used in combination with DVDdecrypter ?
How does that work? Just run anydvd and then use DVDdecrypter like before ?

Ther are also some commercial products, such as:

1) Magic DVD Ripper (Ripper only)

2) DVD95Copy (Ripper, compressor, burner)

I have used both and prefer DVD95Copy for its simplicity. After using Magic DVD Ripper, I have had to use VobBlanker or FreeDVD to remove Uops and then Nero Recode to shrink.

Later versions of Magic Ripper do remove 'Uops'.

The latest versions of the Sony ARccOS protection on recent DVD's are not supported on the last version of DVD Decrypter.

AnyDVD, however does does support them.

nice to see people are still interested in supporting free and/or open source programmers and not supporting rippoff artists by buying from them.(yes thats sarcasm for anyone that missed it) :angry:

is there anything dvddecryptor can not do, which is really widely needed?
