Sanyo does not mention H264 support. At least I cannot find this info on the web.

Considering H.264 is THE next gen dvd codec then i should say it supports it.

Uhm... "should"...
IMHO it doesnt support it (or it only decodes it). They say HD DVD only and there are other codecs included that ehr... "standard"...
