second monitor support

Hi
Can anyone suggest a good dvd player program that supports a second monitor.
I've tried several (powerdvd, windvd, roxio, media player 10) but as soon as i try to move it over to the other screen the display window goes black or an error message

It may be an overlay problem: perhaps only one screen can support it. You should so configure your video card to set up the overlay feature on the second screen... and every player should play fine.

while we're on the subject
if you use a nvidia display it;s rather easy to fix
change your overlay setting and/or change drivers
thats how I fixed mine

though if your trying to get it to work on lets say an hdtv like I do
you may have some troubles with under/overscan on playback
mpc has a nice option so you can change the frame size on the fly to make it fit, usualy doesn't give any errors either
though you might have some troubles reading subtitles sometimes
