Burning Backup DVD's:

I am burning VIDEO_TS folders (which I obtained from DVD's I purchased legally and am making backup copies of) using VOB InstantCD+DVD.

I have a Toshiba ODD-DVD SD-R5272 drive however, VOB InstantCD+DVD didn't have the exact driver, so I'm using the SD-6012 driver (is this bad? Where can I get the proper driver?).

I am using RIDATA 8X 4.7GB Media. Some of my movies come out perfect. Other however will begin to pixelate and eventually stop playing sometime during the movie.

Any suggestions/tips? (better software, better media, better DVD drive?)

- Thanks :)

hi eodak and welcome to the forum. So, how am I doing? well ... not so good i am afraid.

in your 5 day waiting period, it seems you failed to read the Forum Rules (http://forum.doom9.org/forum-rules.htm)
in particular:
Rule 1
Rule 6
Rule 9
you may also want to read this anouncement in the newbie forum:
ATTENTION: Read this before posting! Especially on downloaded movies, or movies you do not own! (http://forum.doom9.org/announcement.php?f=6)

there are many threads in the forum, which you can find using the search function, that provide detailed information on media/burner compatability and pixelation and incorrect playback.
