Hi all,

I have an avi (divx) that loses audio sync on the avi->svcd conversion. VDub picked the problem, Vbr mp3 audio. I have seen the fix pages but was wondering if the newer versions of dvd2svcd are untroubled by this situation? I would rather just upgrade than fiddle with Vdubmod.

Arr... 90% of the avi's I convert have VBR MP3 and almost never ever have sync problems, so VBR audio itself is not your problem. I have the AVI Audio Extraction set to Internal rather than the default VFW.

you could always demux the audio as an mp3, then use an external tool to convert to mp2.
