Play button not working in Maestro

I am authoring a disc that has a first play with trailers then it jumps to the main menu which has play movie button scene selection button and a short film button . I put a dummy track that plays before my main movie and the short film which has a command sequence for the menu and title button to act as a resume reading resume if gp3=1 movgp3=1 jump to 1st chapter I also have command sequences on all of my chapter stops for the resume function as well. with that being said when i try to press the play button on the remote when I am on the main menu play movie button or the short film button it just goes to black and stays there. But if I press the enter button on the remote it works fine. these 2 have the dummy black tracks in front of them so I am assuming it has something to do with that but Im stumped on how to solve it. Please help :stupid:

Your command sequences are to resume? if is that, probably, when you press play, it resumes to the previous sequence; and I believe the correct way to activate a button is pressing enter, why you want it to activate with the play button?.
