Hi all:
I have a bizarre problem using Premiere Pro 1.5. When I import AVI files, I can watch them in the source window, but I can't shuttle back when doing so. That is: using SPACE to play/stop works, using K-L to play forward/stop works, using the arrow keys to go forward and back works, using the scrub wheel with the mouse works. What does NOT work is using the J key to play a clip in reverse; I press it and the program does nothing.
This happens no matter what kind of AVI file I'm importing: MJPEG, DV, uncompressed... OTOH, when importing Quicktime files, I can play back and forth without any problems. Has this happened to anyone else? I've searched everywhere, and it seems that I'm the only one with this problem.
(BTW: yes, I have looked in the "keyboard customization" section, and the "J" key is associated with "Shuttle back").
