i wonder what happens when you sign up using IE, then use Firefox when the service gets connected?

I don't think they would packet sniff the connections. Main sympatico site is: http://synpatico.msn.ca. Tells everything :devil:.

I did some research and in firefox, the page is not on the right province. Ontario is $39 while Québec is $35. Why IE goes for Qc and FF goes On... I dunno :(

Actually, it may be both the same. MS actually PAYS companies to give discounts on products and services if the person visiting their website is using Explorer. They also give a discount if the person is using Windows instead of linux or MacOS. Try IE on Windows and IE on MacOS and you'll see it's cheaper with Windows. There was a big stink about this practice in the news a couple years back, but it's still common in some areas.

Hah, yeah, when I was with a relative to check out where he worked (MS office in Dallas) I saw a bunch of posters here and there offering employees prizes for discouraging Linux and enforcing Windows, or something along those lines.

God I would've never though a discount would be available like that just for using IE. M$ wants pure domination, and apparently does a lot that I don't even know about to get it. And granted, I love FireFox so so so much, but I have to use IE constantly still for many websites that are just NOT compatible with FF. Do you think ALL websites will one day be fully cross-browser-compatible?
