avi.net finds the best resolution taking in consideration the source aspect ratio.

I want it, because with orignal screen size, the file size must be bigger too for acceptable quality. This is not necessary to have such original size when I want to transfer it on the net.

Thanks mgh and Zyphon :p I got it now, previously I just misunderstood that both the arrows and the boxes are for the cropping function only.

Are you selecting a DXN profile?

I've done extensive testing on many SAP, I've had too, I wrote an app called avi.NET.

For instance, MTK chipset based players will stutter when a movie is encoded with packed bitstreams, but, bear this in mind.

If you do NOT use a DXN profile and have 'packed bitstreams' enabled you'll have problems, but, if you use a DXN profile, GSpot and MPEG4Modifier will tell you you have packed bitstreams but it will be OK, beleive me, look at the NVOP percentage, using DXN profile it will say 0.00% and it will play just fine.

Have a quick test of avi.NET, select XVID, check for packed bitstreams, it will say yes, but it will be 0% and it will play just fine.

do I need to set DXN profile in XviD settings manually or willl avi.NET do this automatically ?
