muxman vs. Ifo edit

which one is a beter DVD authoring device?

I already have a MGEG-2 file (2hrs long), but I don't know which one to use.

try muxman. ifoedit can have problems with ntsc.

so can I mux the subtitle in the form of .srt into the DVd. Muxman only allow .sup subtitle.
Is it ok for me to use "subtitle workshop" to convert .srt into .sup?
Will it work?

Derrow fixed the NTSC problems in IfoEdit in version 0.971

I use MuxMan, great tool. I like the fact that it's still being maintained/bugfixed, unlike IfoEdit. However, the latest version of IfoEdit (v0.971) should be able to author both PAL and NTSC properly...

hacbao, none of these freeware tools can use a .srt text subtitle file as direct input. You'll need to convert your subtitles to bitmap SUP format first. As SubtitleWorkshop can't do this, I recommend SubtitleCreator for this process: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=80109
