Hello everyone. I just want to let everyone know that I did a search on this forum, but have just found way too many results that are basically unrelated. Here is what I want to do:

I have a bunch of episodic AVI files that I want to put onto a DVD (NTSC). Now I have been using TMPGenc and its DVD Author tool. But lately I have been having problems where some files the audio becomes terrible out of sync.

Can any1 reccomend an easy but consistent way of doing this? I have CCE and procoder 2.0 that I use for DVD-Rebuilder, but I dont know how to use those encoders on thei rown for things like avi to DVD. Also some of the AVIs are full screen so I hope that is not a problem. Thanks everyone for your time and help, it is much appreciated.

Take your original episodic discs and convert them with something like DVD Shrink. If you're not in possession of the original episodic discs, read the Announcement at the top of the Newbies homepage.

is it free?
VSO divx to dvd is no longer free. Dvd2svcd is free and is another excellent choice IMO. I would try Dvd2svcd and if you still have audio sync problems look at the Dvd2svcd forum and post their. If you still have problems you may have to de-mux the audio and video, encode them separately and re-mux them.

Look for a tool called DIKO this can convert AVI to DVD and is pretty straight forward to use, just a set it up and in a few button clicks it will work happily away.

EDIT: Oh I forgot to add DIKO has a free edition as well. :)
