If I prepare a project in r4r 0.5 release (build 1090) using a DVD source I have no problems running the application as it is supposed to.

But when I choose to "Scan folder" the r4r start button is disabled / greyed out, and I can't figure out why (especially since it worked ok four months ago).

What I do:
I insert / open a DVD in r4r and run a full rip (all steps except finalize) using a full HDD copy (not using image file / Daemon tools), and everything works just fine.

After the job is complete I then choose "Scan folder" and select the folder containing the rip from the previous run (F:\DVD\Rips\XXXXXXX_VTS9_PGC1), and then the start button is disabled no matter which of the steps I select/deselect.

I must be overlooking something. Can someone tell me what it is?

NB: The above mentioned "what I do" procedure is a "steps to reproduce behaviour" procedure. It's of course not what I really want to do. What I really want to do is ripping specific chapters off a dvd using DVDDecrypter or SmartRipper and then use r4r / GK afterwards.

I had that problem. I fixed it by making sure all the
program paths were correct (Tools -> Preferences).

Thx, Jellysandwich.

I hadn't verified the path to vStrip because I "use the internal routines". The correct path to vStrip fixed the problem.

This problem does not occur if you rip from dvd, only from HDD.
