I found HeadAC3he-0.23a at Dark Avenger's site (http://darkav.de.vu), but I saw no mention there of the .25 version your title refers to. The link actually came from Doom9's download page out on the front end of the forum (click on the "Doom9" link at the very top of the page > Downloads). Is there a .25 version floating around, or did you just make a typo? Be interesting to know if there is one...

0.25 is only available for some alpha testers. As its re-written from scratch...
Its undergoing some tests etc..

If its finished i think it will be available at DA's site.

Well it's good to know that HeadAC3he is still being developed... 0.23a is just over 3 years old now!

I wonder how long have the alpha test versions been available?

These alpha versions ARE protected by good reason. ELSE they would be posted on DA's site.
As DarkAvenger said in the german forum: Please DON'T publish LINKS or ALPHA versions.
Remember similar AC3Filter thread??

So it's very annoying you just did. :angry:
Soon people will start complaining because they don't know what alpha means. It's still untested and by the way the author didn't want the alpha versions spreading around.

So I really DO urge you to remove links, especially PASSWORDS!!!
If you want further development you can help by doing so.

Well in that case I apologise, as I can't read German!

It's a shame DarkAvenger could not trust some of us English speaking Doom9 members to test his alpha's...

That said, I've just done some tests and found some problems... where do I report them?

the 0.24 version has been posted in this forum by author himself.

DarkAvenger seems can read/write english,
and there already has some english posts in the last page of that hac 0.25 thread on German doom9 forum.

Sorry for the harsh critisism,

DA is really busy but developing a new version...
He does not want the alphas being spread.
Therefore he posted protected rar files in the german forum to have some clever guys help him testing these new builds. All written from scratch. So there may be alot of bugs or non working things in these versions.
It's because it is not an updated but rewritten application.
For the time being you can do everything the new version does with verision 024b13.
