how to time out a still menu

I am currently using TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 to author my dvd's. I'm doing some captures and putting several titles per disk. What I would like to do is have the still menu I created with the program time out after x amount of seconds and jump to the first title. There is no way of doing this from within TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6, so I thought either ifo edit or pgcedit could nicely do the trick. I have several dvd's that I authored some time ago in dvd maestro, and tried to see where and how it did it,however I don't understand squat.
I've searched around, here and on the web and haven't come up with much.
A link or tutorial or a point in the direction of a guide, or whatever would be greatly appreciated!

have the still menu I created with the program time out after x amount of seconds and jump to the first title. You can do it in PgcEdit. Double-click the Menu PGCs to get PGC Editor. The ones with VMGM or VTSM are your menu PGCs.

There is a column that should say "still time" in bottom area. Each cell has a value of 0 to 255. 0 to 254 is the number of seconds after cell play has completed. 255 is for infinite play and is a common value for still menus.

Anyways, you can preview the cell to find the one you want and set its still time to whatever X seconds you want, except 255.

look at this small sample in the guide (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/third_party/2cool/remove_language_aspect_ratio_menus/remove_language_and_aspect_ratio_menus_2.htm) about the still time column.

Another way to find your menu is to use PgcEdit trace function.

I was typing on the fly when I jsut remembered that the link I provided to you was the solution I was looking for all along. The only thing you didn't need to do in that guide is set the still time to 0 and all of page 3, which is the blanking part.

So, when your menu times out, it'll go to the title you wanted like you pressed the button on your menu.

Hey 2cool I jumped the gun a little early, been trying to do this with your guide and on my own, the menu times out just fine, but then the dvd just ends and closes. the button command that I want to play has this for a command:
[30 06 00 0A 00 C0 00 00] (JumpSS) Jump to VMGM PGC 10
so there is no link to title set 1. I think it just goes to a dummy pgc. haven't yet found a way to link it or "jump to" where i want to go.
I think you should know that this is page1 of a 2 page menu with a button for each title set,a play all button and buttons to link to the next menu page.

My guide to bypassing that menu should work. You can skip page 1 since you know where your menu is. In page 2 (http://home.tiscali.be/debie.roland/pgcedit/third_party/2cool/remove_language_aspect_ratio_menus/remove_language_and_aspect_ratio_menus_2.htm), set the still time to whatever time you want the menu to display after it does an initial playback. Don't input a 0 or 255. UPDATE: I forgot to mention that you need to set your Cell's cell cmd field to 1 as explained in page 2. And last, you don't have to do page 3 for blanking the menu since you want to see it.

By doing so, if so many seconds have elapse after your menu plays and without you clicking any button, it should execute your cell command, which is to jump to VMGM 10.
