Ivan, really excellent news !!! I planned to send you an email regarding to Show Time Mobile, but now my intention is obsolete. :-)
I am only curious, did you do Wireless MMX (2) optimization for this version? StrongARM PXA 272 supports this technology.
Is this version comparable with TCPMP in area of efficiency and speed? I am not so addicted by nice skins, but playback H.264 (X264) with AAC LC or HE in MP4 or Matroska in resolution 320x240 without dropping frames with framerate 25 fps is something, what I am looking for.
But Teaser release was big disappointment.
Support of Ogg Vorbis is really nice, it would be fine to develop some open plugin API (as it is Nero Wave Editor) to support for example Speex, GSM 3GPP codecs etc.
My MDA (HTC Magician) and PDA (iPaq 5450 - only PXA 250) have limited size of memory (64 MB). Due to this reason, I would appreciate modular open system, where you can add or remove functionality by adding some plugins to have installation as small as possible. I don’t prefer installation on SD card, it is reserved for video and audio files.

BTW: Something related to Nero Wave Editor. Please repair a persistent bug, if you are trying to Save as AAC stream in ISO 13818-7 (tick a box), after saving there is a error message, that .mp4 file missing. It is correct, because .aac file is produced, but Nero Wave Editor does not take it into account.

I'm wondering how it compares with TCPMP on the Treo 700w and PPC-6700 phones using the Recode AVC settings... I'm testing those two phones as we speak... and I'm also wondering about any plans to port a Palm version... I'm a big fan of Recode... feedback anyone?!? Thanks!
And is there a release date for Mobile Home Edition yet?

I guess Windows Mobile 5 is supported? It just says "Windows Mobile" on the web page?

Could this thread be moved into the "Software Players" section of the forum?

Well...for what it's worth...on a PPC-6700...
I am using Beta 3 from the latest download (even though the page says Beta 2)
In playing back a movie recorded with Nero Recode in AVC/AAC mode using mostly the iPod video settings in the latest version of Recode (included with Ultra 7) and around 200kbps video...
Playback is choppy with dropped frames in both the audio and video...especially the video....should I assume the latest Beta of ShowTime Mobile doesn't fully support AVC/AAC?
For what it's worth, to me the 320x240 screen is "left-handed" with the phone controls on the left, but there is no button integration for the PPC-6700 as there is with TCPMP.
I understand there's a full release scheduled for the first quarter of 2006? What changes are in store, and what about Palm support?
Thanks for any feedback.
