Changing Xvid vfw options?

Could the options of xvid vfw be directly changed without calling the option dialog? If so, how to do that? Could anyone help?

dump the xvid registry keys with

REG EXPORT HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GNU\XviD registry.reg

modify it

import xvid registry key

reg import registry.reg
