Hi,

Have just returned to DVD-RB after almost a years absence, like the changes. Had 4 months forced absence from work last year and went "mad" backing up, then burnt out. Have just reinstalled 2 PCs (P4 and AMD64) with XP SP2, CCE SP 2.67 and RB 1.00rc3.

Have tried 2 discs, Troy D1 (R4) and Count of Monte Cristo (R4), and both are coming out about 1Gb bigger than the original on both PCs. Frustrating! Was a clean install of CCE and RC3, so it may be a config issue on my part, as Procoder2 gives the correct size. Have set CCETargetSectors & TargetSectors in [Options] at about 2250000. With or without this it still oversizes.

Who want to be the first to wack me in the head to show me my error? :rolleyes: Thanks all!

How did you installed?

Have you tried the Installer? Maybe you got the wrong dgdecode version!?!?

Since ProCoder gives the right size, it sounds like you're using OPV mode, One Pass VBR, with CCE (CCE options). It is known to cause size issues sometimes. And i'd remove any "TargetSectors" setting from the .ini until you find the problem.

either way, good luck :)

Thanks for the assist,

@rockas
clean install of CCE then clean install of the RC3 installer package, neither had been installed before. will try from scratch again

@borgraf
was not using OPV or one pass, but I'll check. Will also remove "TargetSectors" and try again

thanks again

Other suspects:
- Your selection about the CCE version you are using. For 2.67 you must use CCENew and not CCETrial, even if yu are using the Trial version (The CCETrial option is for 2.70)
- Preprocessing??
- Are yu using RBOpt?

I think PG55555 is on the right track. Sounds like a CCE version mismatch that is forcing CBR...

@All

Ended up being a version mismatch, have reverted back to CCE 2.66 and all is well. Think I have a non-standard version of CCE 2.67 (SP SDK version), it has given trubs in the past.

Thanks for the assist.
